This work proposes a reflection on the racism that falls within the favela funk cultural manifestation in various social instances. To this end, we anchor the debate in MUNANGA (2006), MBEMBE (2019), ALMEIDA (2019), GOMES (1996; 2005; 2018) and hooks (2013) with the aim of stimulating effective anti-racist practices. We also propose the (re)construction of looking and listening to the female black student. We deal with identity(ies) based on HALL (2000; 2006), FANON (2008), KILOMBA (2019) as well as black feminism(s) according to KILOMBA (2019), CARNEIRO (2011), GONZALEZ(1988) and hooks (2018). We conducted it this way with the intention of breaking the stereotypes that fall under this subject and, in the same way, stimulating the positivization of this young black woman who in many social spaces, one of them the school space, still does not have adequate representation. As a way of eliminating the stigma imputed to black students, we resorted to Discourse Analysis from the perspective of BAKHTIN (1997) and Deusdará and Rocha (2005), using the concept of dialogism and language as power to exalt the identity positivity of the black student in classroom as well as outside of it. The context of the research took place in a public school in Rio de Janeiro with students in their first year of High School. The work was partially carried out in a Portuguese classroom, since due to Covid-19 there was a redirection of the research. Reflections were based on a field diary, applied questionnaire, and analysis of female favela funk lyrics. The research was guided by autoethnographic inspiration (MÉNDEZ, 2013 apud SILVA; SOUZA; ALMEIDA, 2018). The objectives were discussing the positivization of black female students and deconstructing stereotypes imputed to them in various spaces — and especially in the school environment — as well as to propose reflection on pedagogical practices that promote anti-racism and anti-sexism. As a result of the study, we understand that praising the identity(ies) of the black female subject in classroom as a pedagogical instrument is of paramount importance since, through the linguistic clues found with the aid of Discourse Analysis, they were of great relevance to what was desired in the research objectives.en
