QUINTAL PRODUTIVO AGROECOLÓGICO EM UMA ESCOLA PÚBLICA DA BAIXADA FLUMINENSE: UM ESTUDO DE CASO

Abstract

The present dissertation is a case study on the creation of a productive agroecological backyard within a public high school and technical institution in Baixada Fluminense. It aims to identify the most important facts of the project, provide information on the relevance of the backyard model in other schools, and demonstrate the relevance and connection between the Agroecological Productive Backyard Project and SDGs 2, 3, 4, 10, and 11. Through a methodology of participant observation from April to December 2023, the entire project implementation occurred within the school area, guided by theoretical knowledge to conduct the study. Various benefits for education were observed, such as sustainability, knowledge exchange, and cultural preservation. The results evidenced a positive response not only in favor of learning but also in contributing to the development of a more sustainable, inclusive, and equitable society, with significant conclusions that highlight the importance of replication and practice in other locations.

A presente dissertação é um estudo de caso sobre a criação de um quintal produtivo agroecológico dentro de instituição pública de ensino médio e técnico da Baixada Fluminense Identificar os fatos mais importantes do projeto, trazer informações sobre a relevância do modelo de quintal em outras escolas, demonstrar a relevância e relação entre o Quintal Projeto do Quintal Produtivo Agroecológico e os ODS 2, 3, 4, 10 e 11. Através de uma metodologia de observação participante no período de abril a dezembro de 2023, houve a toda a implementação projeto na área da escola, através de conhecimentos teóricos para guiar o estudo e podemos agregar diversos benefícios para educação, como a sustentabilidade, a troca de saberes e resgates culturais. Com isso, os resultados evidenciaram uma resposta positiva não somente favorecer a aprendizagem, mas também colaborar para o desenvolvimento de uma sociedade mais sustentável, inclusiva e igualitária com conclusões significativas que mostram a importância de ser reproduzido e praticado em outras localidades
