Due to the disadvantages of passive noise and vibration cancellation techniques and the emergence of digital processors capable of performing real-time signal processing, the active variants of these techniques have been attracting increasing interest. Such techniques must artificially synthesize a signal (or several signals) that, by means of the phenomenon of destructive interference and the adaptive filtering technique, mitigate the maximum disturbance of interest (whether this vibration or this noise). Historically, only sensors located at the point of action of the disturbance are modeled in the literature as noisy. However, we know that the input signal of the adaptive filter can also be corrupted by measurement noise (which may even come from the quantization process). This work models the harmful impact that such noise has on the estimator of the FX-LMS adaptive filtering algorithm, demonstrating the emergence of an asymptotic bias capable of inducing loss of performance. This impact is confirmed by simulations. To mitigate this problem, a new algorithm BC-FX-LMS is proposed, which is able to compensate for this bias. The new algorithm requires an estimate of the variance of the measurement noise, but it remains advantageous in some contexts, even when such an estimate is too imprecise. As a result, the new algorithm was able to obtain, depending on the test scenario, gains in the MSD in a steady state greater than 6 dB.en
