| dc.description.abstract | This research began with the central question: how are the pedagogical knowledge of Black teachers who train physics teachers for basic education constructed, and what are these forms of knowledge? The justification for this question was rooted in the need to understand Black teacher trainers in this collective case study as Black intellectuals in the field of scientific research and knowledge production, considering decolonial processes in ethnic-racial relations, their trajectories, and narratives as a geopolitical subversion. The objective of this research was to analyze the pedagogical knowledge of Black teacher trainers, considering their subjectivities, intellectualism, trajectories, and narratives. To achieve this, we sought to identify how these forms of knowledge are constructed and how they are accessed and articulated by teacher trainers. The methodology employed was qualitative and exploratory, with data collection through semi-structured interviews with open-ended questions, which were recorded and transcribed. Content analysis was used to describe and interpret the content of the interviews, through a general semantic network of the knowledge of the subjects of this research and their spin-off networks, aiming for a deeper understanding of the knowledge of Black teacher trainers. The research was based on Tardif's concepts of pedagogical knowledge, which include dimensions of professional, disciplinary, curricular, and experiential knowledge, and his typological models to identify and classify teachers' knowledge, as well as Santos' ecology of knowledge that emerges from the ideas of an epistemology of struggle against cognitive injustice grounded in Southern Epistemologies. The interactions between pedagogical knowledge and the ecology of knowledge, in light of the analysis of the interviews of the subjects of this research, culminated in what we here refer to as post-abyssal knowledge, including dimensions of identity, political, aesthetic-corporeal, localized, silenced, and decolonial knowledge. The results obtained from the analysis of semantic networks highlighted the complexity and richness of these forms of knowledge, emphasizing the need today for a decolonial educational reform and anti-racist pedagogical practices in the training of physics educators, so that in the near future, these actions reflect in the classroom in basic education. The analyses also pointed out the urgencies in the quest for justice in the equitable distribution of scientific and ancestral knowledge, including the inclusion of Afro-Brazilian history and epistemology in training programs, valuing the experiential knowledge of trainers, curriculum diversification, institutional support for Black identities, ongoing research, and the formation of networks and partnerships. Additionally, the evaluation of educational policies is essential. Thus, this investigation aimed to focus on the training of physics teachers in basic education, considering the perspective of Black teachers and the wealth of knowledge they bring to the educational field. With this, this research offers a starting point to promote a more inclusive and equitable teacher training. | en |
| pt |
