| dc.description.abstract | This work aims to analyze the processes of construction, over the years, of literatures, sometimes called Afro-Brazilian literature (DUARTE, 2010), black-Brazilian literature (CUTI, 2010), writings (EVARISTO, 2020), among other terms, investigating how the trajectories of black writers from the suburbs of Rio de Janeiro have been constructed, who carry black and peripheral themes in the DNA of their writings in contemporary times. From this point on, a methodological path is proposed starting from the bibliographic review on issues related to race, racism, whiteness, education, black presence in Brazilian literature, presence of writers from the suburbs of Rio de Janeiro, with a survey of information and knowledge from different materials already published, bringing the dialogue with different authors such as: Cuti (2010), Eduardo de Assis Duarte (2010) and Conceição Evaristo (2020). The research also establishes a dialogue with the reflections of race, racism, whiteness and the legacy of slavery that permeate Brazilian literature. For this construction, the works of authors Cida Bento (2022), Grada Kilomba (2020) and Sueli Carneiro (2023) and authors Dennis de Oliveira (2021), Kabengele Munanga (2004), Frantz Fanon (2022), Octávio Ianni (1996) and Sílvio Almeida (2018) are used as a theoretical basis. For the field research, semi-structured interviews were conducted with nine black writers from the suburbs of Rio de Janeiro. Four of these writers are mentioned in the dissertation: Pedro Machado, Fábio Carvalho, Flávio Braga and Philippe Valentim, authors linked to the Mutirão Cultural Rolé Literário, whose trajectory and importance are also reported in this work. The script followed brought previously established themes, combined with spontaneous facts that emerged throughout these conversations. This methodology provided greater interaction and spontaneity with the authors interviewed, contributing to the fluidity and making them the true protagonists and subjects of this research, which demonstrates the multiplicity of the suburbs and the influences of black writings, in these places, in the process of belonging, generating reflections, theories and strategies that reverberate in the inclusion and access of black people from the suburbs to a literature in which they identify. | en |
| pt |
