Based on the healing practices of the Afro-centric worldview, this research delves into the concept of Healing Libations seeking to understand the enunciative strategies, challenges, and outcomes of the practices of healers and charm-makers in approaching the curatorial processes of art developed by Black women. It aims to detect the impact of the presence of Black women in Brazilian art curation in the last decade (2013/2023), observing the construction of new narratives and new senses of criticality that contribute to the deconstruction of racial stereotypes. As a methodological gesture, I mobilized Conceição Evaristo's concept of "escrevivência", a necessary tool for us, Black women, to narrate our experiences and reposition ourselves as the owners of our own writing. Thus, the research is also motivated by my own experience as a Black woman working in curation and by my inspirations in the act of healing from my grandmother and my mother of saint. Black women, in creating their institutionalized or independent curatorial processes, break the regimes of invisibility that, under the influence of structural racism, operate in the official and legitimizing circuits of Brazilian art history. In this sense, they propose practices that actualize ancestral knowledge, resignifying social imagery and inaugurating new ways of making and exhibiting art of bodies in motions of healing.en
