This dissertation aimed to analyze the impacts of the Covid-19 pandemic on working conditions on maritime platforms (offshore environment), on a Work Psychology standpoint - based on francophone ergonomic principles – considering the Ergology concepts as a theoretical reference. The qualitative research method was used, and the information was collected through semi-structured interviews with workers, which focus covered the subjective experience related to working conditions, the consequences of work activities reorganization, as well as coping mechanisms put in place to deal with the existing changes. It was observed that, with the Covid19 pandemic, there were significant changes to the offshore environment, impacting the work, with regards to the subjective perception of the trinomial: perceived work schedule - constant surveillance- necessary isolation, due to the expansion and change of work routines and the perception of pressure for goal achievements, which came from the accumulation of activities caused by the reduction of workers on board. The analysis based on ergological concepts showed that, regarding the Body-self dimensions, the use of the self for others predominated, resulting in the subjection of workers to work demand structure and continuous increase of relative vulnerability to health and well-being. This study revealed labor organization weaknesses in regards to the changes implemented in the pandemic context and added to a reflection around coping mechanisms adopted by workers in this circumstance with the purpose of mitigating the difficulties they face. Despite the flexible changes implemented in the actions to combat the pandemic, behavior and social dynamics have changed, which also affected the work environment, where instability is still present.en
