The food supply chain (CSA) has complexities inherent to its final product related to perishability and food conservation needs. In this context, supply chain management becomes essential for maintaining product quality and for sector regulation to be followed within all layers of anticipated requirements, since this is a type of operation that involves several risks that may cause damage to the health of the consumer. Faced with the reality imposed by the COVID-19 pandemic, several studies have raised the possibility that CSA facilitates the transmission of the virus through its products and handlers. Therefore, in this study, a systematic review was carried out with the objective of understanding how the world literature deals with the risk of contamination by SARS-CoV-2 in the reality of AAC. Qualitative analyzes were carried out on 29 articles, published in journals, in the years 2020 and 2021, referring to the initial years of the pandemic, in three databases, PubMed, Scopus and Web of Science, following the guidelines of the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic reviews protocol. and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA). As a result of the analysis, it was possible to verify that the literature points out as the greatest risk propagator in the context of the study water, together with the "Agriculture" layer of the chain and as the predominant propagation factor the "Use of contaminated water in irrigation”. On the other hand, the means analyzed to date to mitigate this, and other types of risks identified in the research articles were listed, so that it is possible to contribute to the literature and future studies related to the potential risks of transmission of SARS-CoV-2 within the CSA.en
