MIGRAÇÃO TERRITORIAL: VARIÁVEIS QUE INFLUENCIAM A ATRAÇÃO E A REPULSÃO EM NILÓPOLIS, BAIXADA FLUMINENSE DO RIO DE JANEIRO - BRASIL

Abstract

Every day of our lives we experience changes, some not even felt on our rational plane, and the world is no different. neighborhoods, cities, municipalities, states and even countries are the target of a process of continuous change caused by constant migratory currents. These changes have been drawing the attention of researchers and the scientific community around the world for a long time in an attempt to empirically explain which variables directly interfere in this process, and how they determine the desire to stay or leave our place of residence. This study sought to identify these same variables of attraction and repulsion in the Municipality of Nilópolis, Baixada Fluminense/RJ, with the objective of generating data that serve for the public power to minimize, or avoid a possible decline of the city, whether demographic or quality of life. The methodology used was the content analysis proposed by Bardin (2011) performed through face-to-face interviews in the search for residential attraction and repulsion factors. With this, enough material was obtained to conclude that there is indeed an exodus of residents out of the municipality not yet recorded by the IBGE and consequently without having exactly the impact that this may have on the demographic decline of the city.

Todos os dias das nossas vidas experimentamos mudanças, algumas nem sentidas no nosso plano racional, e o mundo não é diferente. bairros, cidades, municípios, estados e até países são alvo de um processo de mudança continua provocada por correntes migratórias constantes. Essas mudanças, já há um bom tempo vem chamando a atenção dos pesquisadores e da comunidade científica do mundo inteiro na tentativa de explicar empiricamente quais variáveis interferem diretamente nesse processo, e de que forma determinam o desejo de ficar ou partir do nosso local de residência. Esse estudo buscou identificar essas mesmas variáveis de atração e repulsão no Município de Nilópolis, Baixada Fluminense/RJ tendo como objetivo gerar dado que sirvam para que o poder público minimize, ou evite um possível declínio de cidade, seja demográfico ou de qualidade de vida. A metodologia utilizada foi a de análise de conteúdo proposta por Bardin (2011) executada através de entrevista face a face na busca de fatores de atração e repulsão residencial. Com isso, foi conseguido material suficiente para concluirmos que está sim havendo um êxodo de moradores para fora do município ainda não constado pelo IBGE e consequentemente sem termos com exatidão o impacto que isso poderá causar no declínio demográfico da cidade.
