A TERRA NÃO É PLANA, MAS EXISTE UM ABISMO DEPOIS DA PERIFERIA: A IMPORTÂNCIA DO PENSAMENTO DE CLOVIS MOURA PARA A COMPREENSÃO DO RACISMO E DA SUPEREXPLORAÇÃO CONTRA A CLASSE TRABALHADORA NEGRA E PERIFÉRICA NO CAPITALISMO DEPENDENTE BRASILEIRO

Abstract

The central objective of this dissertation is to understand, based on the intellectual contribution of the sociologist, historian, journalist and poet Clovis Moura, the relationship between racism, as a superstructural element, and the social structure of Brazilian dependent capitalism. And, more specifically, understand the functionality of racism for capitalism, expanding knowledge about how much the socioeconomic situation of the majority of the black population takes on greater concreteness based on an analysis that takes into account the social totality; identifying the main characteristics of the dependent model and demonstrating its importance for understanding the concrete reality of society. Furthermore, investigate the importance of the relationship between race and class as a predominant factor in the construction of knowledge about racism and overexploitation in Brazilian society. The dissertation has a historical-analytical character and bibliographical research was the main methodological resource used. The analysis, based on the historical-dialectic materialist method, sought to go beyond the * of theoretical categories, building mediations that demonstrated the nature of the relationship between them.

A presente dissertação tem como objetivo central compreender, a partir da contribuição intelectual do sociólogo, historiador, jornalista e poeta Clovis Moura, a relação entre o racismo, enquanto elemento superestrutural, e a estrutura social do capitalismo dependente brasileiro. E, mais especificamente, compreender a funcionalidade do racismo para o capitalismo, ampliando os conhecimentos sobre o quanto a situação socioeconômica da maioria da população negra toma maior concretude a partir de uma análise que leva em conta a totalidade social; identificando as principais características do modelo dependente e demonstrando a sua importância para o entendimento da realidade concreta da sociedade. Além disso, investigar a importância da relação raça e classe como fator predominante para a construção do conhecimento sobre o racismo e a superexploração na sociedade brasileira. A dissertação tem um caráter histórico-analítico e a pesquisa bibliográfica foi o principal recurso metodológico utilizado. A análise, partindo do método materialista histórico-dialético, buscou ir além da descrição das categorias teóricas, construindo mediações que demonstrassem a natureza da relação entre elas.
