The health sector encompasses all preventive, curative, or palliative health care. These are carried out collectively or individually, always requiring a business process management that provides results with speed, with good potential and that increases the profitability of companies that adopt the use of Business Process Management (BPM). To achieve organizational improvement, the use of technological innovations is essential. Industry 4.0 allows the connectivity and use of technologies in real time, improving the quality of products and services, giving rise to BPM 4.0. Thus, in this dissertation, a systematic review was carried out to understand, based on the state of the art, how Industry 4.0 technologies are related to BPM in the healthcare area. Qualitative analyze and exploratory research of 31 articles published in journals until August 2021 were analyzed in three databases, PubMed, Scopus, and Web of Science, according to the PRISMA protocol. The results presented show a predominance of works that focused on hospitals and clinics, the telecommunications with the greatest predominance were Simulation, IoT and Big Data. Most of the work focused on business improvement, positively affecting the health of employees and customers. The results contribute to comparisons with technologies other than BPM in the healthcare sector, highlighting process mining, which was present in several expensive articles. Geographically, the European continent has strong data regarding BPM 4.0, both for the countries of the authors and the countries of publication. This study can be useful for professionals working in the area and managers, contributing to show the evolution of the literature, in addition to contributing to researchers on this topic.en
