“E SE EU ENVIAR MEU CURRÍCULO EM PAPEL CARBONO?” – ANÁLISE DISCURSIVA DOS COMENTÁRIOS NO LINKEDIN SOBRE O PROGRAMA TRAINEE MAGALU 2021, EXCLUSIVO PARA PESSOAS NEGRAS

Abstract

This paper intends to carry out a reflection on how racism materializes in corporate environments from the dialogical discursive analysis (BAKHTIN, 2000), considering the linguistic, historical, social, and subjective dimensions of statements of 30 comments publicly posted on the social network Linkedin about the Magalu 2021 Trainee Program, launched in September 2020 by the company Magazine Luiza and intended exclusively for black people. We understand that the circulation of the statement constitutes the organization of the discourse (MAINGUENEAU, 2011), that is, what is said and presumed, as an act of saying something, which is addressed to someone and with a specific purpose (SOBRAL, 2009). And taking into account the behavior idealized by users of a digital platform of employment visibility and professional showcase, we seek to establish a dialogue between the construction of discourses, the hierarchization of races through a scale of values (MUNANGA, 2003) and positive discrimination for combat established racial and social inequalities (ALMEIDA, 2019) to raise the discussion of how difficult it is to insert, maintain and promote black bodies in the business environment, without an effective work of racial literacy of the subjects, mainly due to structural racism (ALMEIDA, 2019), economic, political and formative component of Brazilian society. In this way, the results of this analysis pointed to the permanence of racist discourses, supported by fallacious arguments such as the myth of racial democracy, reverse racism, and meritocracy, in addition to the use of subterfuges that help to diminish the importance of the initiative, such as the use of recreational racism, the lack of knowledge about affirmative action and the classification of the Program as a Marketing action.

Este trabalho pretende realizar uma reflexão sobre como o racismo se materializa nos ambientes corporativos a partir da análise discursiva dialógica (BAKHTIN, 2000), considerando as dimensões linguística, histórica, social e subjetiva, de enunciados de 30 comentários postados publicamente na rede social Linkedin sobre o Programa Trainee Magalu 2021, lançado em setembro de 2020 pela empresa Magazine Luiza e destinado exclusivamente a pessoas negras. Entendemos que a circulação do enunciado constitui a organização do discurso (MAINGUENEAU, 2011), isto é, aquilo que é dito e presumido, enquanto ato de dizer alguma coisa, que é dirigida a alguém e com uma finalidade específica (SOBRAL, 2009). E levando em consideração o comportamento idealizado pelos usuários de uma plataforma digital de visibilidade empregatícia e vitrine profissional, buscamos estabelecer um diálogo entre a construção dos discursos, a hierarquização de raças através de uma escala de valores (MUNANGA, 2003) e a discriminação positiva para combater as desigualdades raciais e sociais constituídas (ALMEIDA, 2019) para levantar a discussão do quanto é difícil a inserção, a manutenção e a promoção de corpos negros no meio empresarial, sem um efetivo trabalho de letramento racial dos sujeitos, principalmente devido ao racismo estrutural (ALMEIDA, 2019), componente econômico, político e formador da sociedade brasileira. Desta forma, os resultados dessa análise apontaram para a permanência de discursos racistas, sustentados por meio de argumentos falaciosos como o mito da democracia racial, o racismo reverso e a meritocracia, além do uso de subterfúgios que ajudam a diminuir a importância da iniciativa, como o uso do racismo recreativo, a falta de conhecimento sobre ações afirmativas e a classificação do Programa como uma ação de Marketing.
