O CONTEXTO DIASPÓRICO COMO UM PROBLEMA FILOSÓFICO: ESTÉTICA AFRICANA NA DIÁSPORA E A SALA DE AULA DE FILOSOFIA NA EDUCAÇÃO BÁSICA

Abstract

While the philosophy classroom in basic education has its curriculum filled with philosophical problems that wove the history of its formation and its reflections on Western society, it still ignores a context that generates a lot of problematizations and refers to concepts that are ignored in a Euro-centric scholar curriculum. In a country whose half of its population comes from Afro-diasporic descent, it ignores the basements of African orality philosophical resources that refer to an aesthetic from the African continent and its presence in today´s diaspora, especially Brazil. The dissertation will work the understanding of what an African aesthetic would be, its philosophical resources and implications for image, sound, relationships and daily and artistic scenic trances. The text we will bring problematizations of the current context of the philosophy curriculum in basic education and the ways to work on African aesthetics and master its reflections in the popular daily life, of students, educators, schools, cities and any context where teaching the subject and its methodologies can address. The teaching product consists of a PDF booklet with text, images and videos, and a printable version, aimed at teachers who will work on the topic and need guidance on how to raise awareness, how to divide the concepts during school´s two-month period, which methodologies can be used, etc.

Enquanto a sala de aula de filosofia na Educação Básica tem seu currículo recheado de problemas filosóficos que teceram a história das sociedades ocidentais, ignora-se ainda tradições que trazem importantes problematizações para um currículo eurocentrado. Num país cuja metade de sua população é de descendência afro-diaspórica, não são valorizados a cultura oral africana e os recursos filosóficos relativos a uma estética do continente africano, fortemente presentes em países como o Brasil. Essa dissertação busca investigar o que é uma estética africana, seus recursos filosóficos e implicações na imagem, no som, nas relações e nos transes cênicos cotidianos e artísticos. Problematizamos o contexto atual do currículo de filosofia na Educação Básica e os caminhos para trabalhar a estética africana e explorar sua presença no cotidiano popular, dos estudantes, do educador, da escola, da cidade, enfim, em todo contexto em que o ensino dessa temática seja pertinente. O produto didático consiste numa cartilha em PDF com imagens, textos, indicação de vídeos e uma versão para impressão, voltada para docentes que trabalharão o tema e precisem de um suporte para como sensibilizar, como dividir os conceitos no bimestre letivo, quais metodologias pode usar, dentre outros.
